Your device will receive push notifications via Google Cloud Messaging. Our servers are monitoring the live exchange rate from Bitstamp and pushing the alerts over the Google Cloud Messaging Architecture to your device (thus not draining your battery).
Security
This App only needs permission to trade and to view account infos, there is no way it can withdraw your money from the exchange.
A lot of development is ongoing right now. Be prepared for even more features and bug fix releases in the coming weeks. Consider writing a short feedback to feedback@btcfx.ch instead of just giving a bad rating, it is very possible we're already aware of certain bugs. Updates are released very fast, check recent changes.
